October 1st is the filing deadline for individual personal property returns. If a completed return is not received, the account will be deleted from the tax books for 2012 and a tax ticket will not be sent July 2012.

It is important that you file your return by the October 1st deadline. If you do not file, a supplemental tax ticket will have to be issued. This supplemental tax ticket will include your regular taxes plus a 6% interest fee. You will not be able to pay the supplemental tax ticket in two parts as the supplemental ticket must be paid in full at the time it is issued, according to WV State Code.
